Serenade, I Miss You

A Short Film Premiere at the Rosette

'Serenade, I Miss You' is the directorial debut of guitarist and teacher Nick Hurt.  This short film features performances of four newly commissioned works along with insights, humor and ideas from the composers.  All four composers are from Austin but have very different musical backgrounds - their music, joined together in film, is an eclectic and exciting display of talent from the Capitol City.  Hurt, born and raised in Austin but now living elsewhere, commissioned the works, performed them and directed the film with the intention of capturing a musical and sensory essence of Austin and home.
