Images in the Clouds: Reading the Sky

ACG's dear friend, valued team member, and incredibly talented composer, Justice Phillips collaborates with one of our beloved community members, poet Maria Wells to bring us a beautiful evening of music and storytelling.

This concert will feature the premier of three new works composed by Justice inspired by Maria's poetry and performed by two guitars and voice by composer Justice Phillips, another long-time friend of ACG, UT Doctoral student, Alex Lew and UT Graduate, baritone Andy Young. 

Maria's poetry takes us on a journey from her coastal home city of Trieste, Italy which experienced much during World War II, to a night in Cappadocia hearing the beautiful and graceful music of the region. Maria's poems breathe life into her memories and Justice's compositions capture their essence in the most loving way. Join us for a lovely and intimate evening with some of our closest community members. 

All proceeds go towards supporting ACG Artistic and Education programs.
